Our Ingredients
Every SpaVed formula begins with carefully selected botanicals rooted in Ayurveda, chosen for what they do rather than how they sound. Below you'll find their origins, their benefits for your skin, scalp and hair, and the products each one appears in.
For skin
Saffron
The world's most precious spice, and a traditional Ayurvedic brightener. In our Saffron Face Cream it helps reduce the appearance of dark spots and dullness and supports a more even, radiant-looking tone.
Found in: Saffron Face Cream, Illuminate & Rejuvenate Duo, Cleanse & Nourish Duo
Licorice
A root extract with natural brightening benefits. Paired with saffron, it helps minimise the appearance of dark spots for a more luminous complexion.
Found in: Saffron Face Cream
Tulsi (Holy Basil)
Revered in Ayurveda as a purifying, rejuvenating herb. In skincare it helps promote an even tone and calms the skin, while shielding it from everyday environmental stress.
Found in: Tulsi Nourishing Face Cream and every duo that includes it
Shea Butter
A rich, natural butter for intense nourishment. It gives the Tulsi cream its deep hydration and leaves dry or mature skin feeling comfortable and soft.
Found in: Tulsi Nourishing Face Cream
Hydrolysed Soybean Fibre
A plant-derived skin-conditioning ingredient that helps support smoother, firmer-looking skin.
Found in: Tulsi Nourishing Face Cream
Aloe Vera
Soothing and hydrating, aloe calms the skin and helps hold moisture in, which is why it sits alongside our brightening and nourishing actives.
Found in: Saffron Face Cream, Tulsi Nourishing Face Cream
Vitamin E
An antioxidant that supports the skin's natural defence and adds hydration. It appears in both our day cream and our night serum.
Found in: Saffron Face Cream, Chamomile Face Oil Serum, Natural Hair Growth Oil
Wild Turmeric (Kasturi Manjal)
Not the turmeric in your kitchen: kasturi manjal is a non-staining cosmetic turmeric prized in Ayurveda for the skin. Rich in antioxidants, it helps protect against free radicals and supports a brighter, smoother-looking complexion. It will not leave your skin yellow.
Found in: Wild Turmeric Face Cleanser, Cleanse & Nourish Duo, Revitalise & Renew Duo
Papaya (Papain Enzyme)
Naturally rich in papain, an exfoliating enzyme that helps lift away dull surface cells, leaving skin looking smoother, brighter and more even.
Found in: Wild Turmeric Face Cleanser
Chamomile
One of the gentlest botanicals in skincare. It soothes irritation and helps reduce the appearance of redness, which is why it leads our night serum.
Found in: Chamomile Face Oil Serum, Timeless Radiance Duo
Lavender
Calming for the skin and for the evening. Lavender oil supports the serum's soothing work and helps the skin settle overnight.
Found in: Chamomile Face Oil Serum

A restorative oil that supports the skin's natural repair and collagen production, helping soften the appearance of fine lines by morning.

For hair and scalp
Rosemary
Long used in hair care and enriched with nourishing acids and vitamin E. Rosemary helps prevent split ends, fights dryness and adds shine, and gives our hair oil its fresh aroma.

Packed with vitamins and minerals, argan brings shine, volume and softness back to lengths that have lost them.
